If you’re anything like me (and I’m sure you are), you’re always scrambling to get ready quickly in the morning. To make things more challenging, I do my workouts in the morning. So I really have to get a move on the second I get out of bed. When I’m finished with my workout and my shower, I like to have an easy, nutritious breakfast ready to go. Some mornings, I feel motivated enough to make avocado toast with an egg. But others I love a quick yogurt with granola or a bowl of oatmeal.
Oatmeal can be tricky. So many instant oatmeal packets are loaded with sugar, and sometimes plain whole oats are just too bland. Lucky for me, I found out about a company called Maker Oats.

Maker Oats produces overnight oat pouches, so all you have to do is add the oat mixture to your favorite milk, stir it, and stick it in the fridge the night before! They’re perfect for those mornings when you just barely have time to grab something that’s already made and ready to go! So far, they have 3 different flavors of oatmeal pouches:
Don’t be scared away by the calories! I know at one time, I would’ve seen 250 and been immediately turned off because it was “too high in calories.” But it’s really not! Eating a filling breakfast is so important. Studies show that people who eat more calories in the morning generally tend to eat fewer later in the day, and fewer total daily calories. Eating the majority of your calories earlier in the day has been associated with weight loss. So don’t be afraid to fill up from a hardy breakfast. Plus, look at that protein content! It truly is a balanced breakfast option.

I loved all 3 flavors when I tried them, but I have to say that the Apple & Coconut was my all-time favorite. It was so flavorful with just the right amount of sweetness. All of the ingredients in each of their products are organic, and there’s absolutely no added sugar! The ingredients that they do add really make their product flavorful and delicious! Maker Oats focuses on only using whole, natural ingredients (which I love). They use fruit, nuts, and spices to flavor their oats.
So if you’re always on the lookout for an easy and nutritious breakfast option, go try some Maker Oats! They’re nutrient dense, filling, and delicious! And they’ll definitely help make your mornings a little bit easier.
